Welcome Volunteers!

Time well spent.

For most of us Saturday is catch up day--shopping, dusting, sleeping, yard work. There is an endless list of things that need to be done in that small amount of precious weekend time.

But what if that day became a day of enrichment? Became a day where you do something that gives you energy and a sense of pride? What if on that day you got up and went out to take part in something that had nothing to do with the regular grind of your daily life? Became part of something bigger than yourself? Something that brings happiness, health, and confidence to someone you don't even know?

Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake builds homes for working families who need solid, well-built places they can build and afford. Places to settle, to live their lives, and raise their families -- the kind of places most of us take for granted.

Become part of the greatest kind of giving back: learn new things, meet new people, be part of making dreams come true.

Where will you be next Saturday?

We welcome you to the Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake Volunteer section of our website.  Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us!
